Cast & Crew

Bev Filmore

Beverly Fillmore is one of New York's most prominent retired lawyers. As a young woman, Bev attended the Dana Hall School in Wellesley, MA followed by Radcliffe College and Georgetown Law. After graduation, Beverly joined the prestigious law firm of Winchester, Wolford, and Tightshousen. She garnered national fame while defending J. Edward William Kennedy Lake after his nanny's preposterous claims that he had been flashing her on a biweekly basis for the past several years. People of that pedigree do not flash. They just don't. It's absolutely absurd.

Bev also happens to be the great grand niece of our nation's highly regarded 13th president, Millard Fillmore. She looks forward to being a part of a great show like Focus until she dies, which will mostly likely be in the next few weeks. Bev resides on the Upper East side with her housekeeper/confidante, Aurelia, and an extensive selection of cookies from the Pepperidge Farm collection.

Charity Prescott-Worthington

Charity Leigh Prescott-Worthington (Alexis Saarela) is a devoted wife, mother, and journalist, who believes that every woman has the potential to be Superwoman!

You may remember Charity from her brief recording career as a Christian teen pop sensation, her songs, "I Don't Want You That Way" and "True Love Waits" became major cross-over hits in 1994-95, going gold and leading to Charity's world tour that year and landing her as the spokeswoman of then-Governor of Texas George Bush's National Abstinence Panel.

Lecturing on behalf of teen abstincence led Charity to pursue her love of communication, sending her to Dartmouth, where she was lucky enough to meet her future husband, Maxwell Worthington, currently ranked #3 on the PGA/pro-golf circuit. Shortly after graduating and hosting the local newscast, she began as a featured co-host on the nationally syndicated "Wake Up and Praise" morning show.

Charity spends much time with her adorable baby, Peyton Sinclair Prescott Worthington, with whom she attends many baby classes and activities including Baby Finance, Baby Sailing, Baby Symphony, and more. She does not allow the baby to make appearances or be photographed, however.

In addition to the various nonprofit and church boards she serves on, Charity's side projects include her cooking show (currently in development with Pax), and frequent appearances on behalf of the First Lady's Council for Literacy. Her forthcoming cookbook, "Meat, Meat, Meat!" which gives ways to include additional meat in one's diet, is due out this fall.

Dinah Maloy

Dinah Maloy (Emily Bryan) is an "American" "award winning" "print", "broadcast journalist", "media personality", and Executive Producer of FOCUS.

Growing up in America's capital, Washington, D.C. proved to be the perfect place for a budding journalist. At the tender age of 16, Ms. Maloy garnered her talent by acquiring an internship position at the Washington Star. She became the Star's youngest intern and interviewed such luminaries as Supreme Court Justice, William Rehnquist and Chinese Party Chairman, Mao Zedong, who called the young journalist, "a delight". However, the Star proved to be uninspiring for a steadfast journalist such as Ms. Maloy and she soon became a White House correspondent during the Nixon administration. Ms. Maloy divided her time at the White House by attending the prestigious Georgetown University. She became very well known for her expose on bra burning. After college, Ms. Maloy traveled the world extensively. She eventually returned to the White House and became President Ford's favorite journalist. Her career has soared ever since.

Ms. Maloy has won a Pulitzer Prize for her work in journalism and is the former host of the "acclaimed" political talk show, "Public Behavior: Political Philosophy Debated Today in the Morning".

She currently resides in New York with her Pekingese, Nelly Bly and her daughter, Sofia.

Shoshanna Morelli

Shoshanna Morelli (Caroline Fickman) was born in Bellmore, Long Island to a jewish mother and an Italian father, which makes her a pizza-bagel. She is the youngest of five kids and the only girl. Her mother died when she was twelve of breast cancer which broke her father's heart and put him in a serious depression. Her father was in the window business but lost it when she was fifteen which forced her to start working to help out in the household. She hated school and often found herself mouthing off to the teachers out of boredom. When she graduated high-school, she entered the DeVry Institute of Technology, where again she felt underwhelmed. It was there, making fun of her instructors and fellow classmates that she discovered she had a talent for making people laugh. Her friends dared her to do an open-mic at Catch a Rising Star in the city. The manager saw her and saw her potential and put her through the ranks.
